Passed away peacefully at home on March 20, 2021. Preceded in death by husband Shozo Kinoshita. Survived by son, Barney, and daughter Debra (Myron) Yamaki, and grandson Shaun. She was born February 04, 1929 and grew up in Kalihi. She graduated from Farrington High School, class of 1948, attended Crel Beauty College with a diploma in hairdressing and cosmetology, and then worked for the City and County Honolulu Police Department as a "911" Switchboard Operator/Supervisor for 19 years.
