Kenneth "Bones" Johnston, 91, of Hilo and Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on September 3, 2020. He was born in Honolulu and was a 1948 graduate of Punahou. Well known in the Visitor Industry, he spent 40+ years promoting Hawai'i and the Big Island to visitors from all over the world.Betty, his wife of 53 years, passed away in 2008. He is missed by his 4 children: Mark, David, Kiko and Jody; his 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He also leaves his sister BJ Feldman of Honolulu.
