Beverly Prescilla Diaz of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on March 5, 2021. She was born on October 20, 1970.She was predeceased by father John DeLeon Diaz and brothers Clarence and Dennis. She is survived by mother Teofila; sister Cynthia (Kerry) Yen; nephews Christian, Jonathan, and John; nieces Alexis, Alyssa, and Alana; grandniece Ailika; grandnephew Logan; and fur baby Chex.
Bev attended St. John the Baptist Catholic School and St. Francis High School. Her concern for others led to a career in social work. She received her BA (Psychology) and MSW degrees from the University of Hawaii and she worked at various facilities helping people: Child and Family Services-Honolulu, Avalon Care Center, Hale Nani Rehabilitation/Beverly Manor, and Kapiolani Medical Center-Pali Momi. She was most recently employed as a Licensed Medical Social Worker at Kaiser Permanente Moanalua Medical Center. Throughout her life, family and friends could always count on Bev's help; good nature; and ready smile. She will be dearly missed.
