87, of Honolulu, passed away on March 29, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Lee Leong. Wally graduated from Iolani School, Class of 1952 and then served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954-1958. He worked for and later retired from Hawaiian Tel as an Equipment Installation Supervisor. His favorite hobbies were golfing and bowling. He was part of the Oahu Hawaiian Golf Club, the Moanalua Seniors Bowling League and Luk Tung Kuen Hawaii Moanalua Senior Club. He is survived by sons Wesley and Stuart Leong; grandchildren Logan and Lexie; sister June (Edmund–deceased.) Loo; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brother Lawrence (Violet) Leong; sisters Vivian Leong and Bertha Lee.
A Private service for family will be held at Ballard Family Mortuary on
Saturday, April 24th, 2021.
Burial service will be on Monday, April 26th at 9:30 a.m. at
The National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl.
