Nancy Miyoko Imoto
Nancy Miyoko Imoto On February 26, 2021, the Imoto `Ohana suffered the loss of their family matriarch with the passing of Nancy Miyoko Imoto (94).
She is survived by her loving husband, best friend and Scrabble/Hanafuda/Vegas partner of 70 years, Richard; four sons: Robert (Chris), Dennis (Brenda), Ronald (Gwen) and Isaac (Sabrina); six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Toyozo and Kiku Isobe, brother Sakuichi, and sisters Helen, Edith, and Hazel.
She was born in Honolulu on January 25, 1927, graduated from McKinley High School, and retired from the Federal government after over 30 years of faithful service.
The family was truly blessed to have had her in their lives for an additional 36 years after she survived pancreatic cancer back in 1985.
