Rosa Sanchez Fernandez peacefully passed away at her home on April 14 2021, surrounded by her 'ohana. Born on May 13 1927, she was the second of seven children of Manuel and Bertha Sanchez; siblings predeceased in death are Manuel Sanchez Jr, John Sanchez, Antone Sanchez, surviving siblings are Alexander (Rebecca) Sanchez, William Sanchez and Barbara (Wallace) Isoda. She was predeceased in death by her beloved husband, Ronald Kaleo Fernandez and son Ronald Kaleo Fernandez Jr. She is survived by four children: Rosalie Fernandez, Richard (Charlene) Fernandez, Ruth (Walter) Oda and Raymond (Cynthia) Fernandez, twelve grandchildren: Borman (Darlene) Chang, Tara (Ronald) Cabardo, Tasha (Lee d.) Murashige, Pualani Fernandez, Rik (Laura) Fernandez, Kaulana Chang, Rory Fernandez, Riley Fernandez, Nanea (Kiau) Flood, Ka'ala (Lei) Oda, Ryan (Tomo) Fernandez and Ronald (James) Fernandez, eight great-grandchildren: Madison Cabardo, Makenna Cabardo, Kaleo Cabardo, Rya Fernandez, Micah Murashige, Kainoa Fernandez, Hulaliohokuili Oda and Kilinahe Flood and Great Grand Dog Kia'i Oda. Also survived by many nieces and nephews from the Sanchez and Fernandez families.Private funeral services were held for our beloved Rosa Sanchez Fernandez. We are accepting donations in memory of Rosa Sanchez Fernandez to the Damien and Marianne of Moloka'i Educational Center at St. Augustine by the Sea Church.
