82Evelyn was born August 23, 1929 to Tetsuro and Shizue Nagoshi in Eleele, Kauai. She taught for the Hawaii Department of Education.
She married Edward Matsumoto in 1954. Evelyn and Edward formed an incredible partnership that produced five children: Elise, Jan, Ross, Edy and Dean.
Evelyn's success as wife, mother and grandmother cannot be understated!
She is survived by her husband Edward, five children and many loving grandchildren. Also survived: sisters Aster, Charlotte, Vivian and brothers Richard and Douglas. She was predeceased by brother Kunio and sister Yuriko.
