Passed away on April 8, 2021, just shy of his 93rd birthday. He was the eldest son of Henry K.F. and Edith O.K. Won of Honolulu.Eugene, also known to family and friends as "Bunny", graduated from Saint Louis School and retired from Hawaiian Telephone. He served in the Korean War and retired with Full Military Honors as Sergeant Major, U.S. Army Reserves.
Together with his wife of 63 years, Elsie Lee Won, they perpetuated their faith, culture and community service with St. Patrick Church, See Dai Doo Society and as Post Commander for the American Legion Kau-Tom Post #11.
Forever being remembered for his quiet strength, gentle smile, and love for his family, "Bunny" is survived by sons Michael, Geary and Eric Won; daughters Debbie (Patrick) Lim and Lori (Dale) Nagata; 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, private services were held. No gifts, please.
