LEROY KAHAI PIIOHIA
LEROY KAHAI PIIOHIA66, a Jehovah's Witness. Fell asleep in death on April 9, 2021 at home surrounded by his Ohana. Born to Roy & Violet on November 13, 1954. Survived by wife Dionicia "Deesha"; keiki, Golden (Lisa), Pualani (Travis) Piiohia Murakami & Ekolu; mo'opuna, Hau'oli Piiohia, Kiley, Quincy "Keaka" & Mika Murakami; brothers Roy & Wendell (deceased), Ryan & Kyle Piiohia; nieces & nephews.
He graduated from Farrington High School in 1972. Retired from the Board of Water Supply in 2012. In his 30 years at the Board of Water Supply he was a pipefitter and worked his way up to Investigator Supervisor. He had a fine reputation in the company and in the community for his excellent service.
Leroy was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness in 1986, and served as an elder in the Palama and Kapalama Hawaii Pidgin Congregations. He volunteered in the building of Kingdom Halls & the Mililani Assembly Hall. After retirement he took up the full time ministry teaching Bible truths. He was hospitable, loving, kind, approachable & loyal. He will be remembered for his love for his God Jehovah, his family & friends. He is greatly missed.
