Violet Kam Lin Yim, 95, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on April 30th, 2021. A devoted wife, mother, sister, PoPo, great- grandmother and founder/owner of the original Waimalu Chop Suey, Violet will be remembered for her kind heart, skillful artistry, easy laughter and loving nature. She is survived by her children Dennis Yim, June (Wesley) Ching, Linda (Wayne) Wong and Randy (Claire) Yim; grandchildren, David, Kimberly, Krystal and Janine; great-grandchild, Avery; and siblings Constance Kop and Annie Lum. In her passing, she will join her beloved husband, Mun Cho Yim and her siblings who preceded her in death. Due to COVID restrictions, the service and burial will be private.
