FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

SUSAN SUTTON
SUSAN SUTTON 96, of Honolulu, Hawaii, was an independent, feisty and compassionate woman. She was a ray of sunshine in our lives, an extraordinary person and everyone's friend. Sue passed quietly and peacefully on October 3rd, 2020 at Kaiser Medical Center. She was born on May 26, 1924 to Soon Ton Yon and Chang Qun Back in Maliko, Maui.
Sue is survived by sisters Jane Durkee and Helen Piimanu and although she had no children of her own, she loved and adored her many nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces and stepchildren and treated them all with her encompassing love. She is predeceased by husbands Roger Marcotte and Noel Sutton and siblings Robert Young, Margaret Chung, Albert, Steven and Floyd Yang and Augustus "Gus" Young.
Sue was a proud graduate of Maui High School, c/o 1943 and maintained an active social life during and after retiring from Hawaiian Telephone Company. She and her husbands travelled the world, spending time with family and friends scattered near and far. She especially loved visiting and sharing her love to those friends isolated in their homes.
Her specialty, Ko Chu Jang, was legendary and anxiously anticipated by family and friends at Christmas! We will miss her and she will remain in our hearts forever.

Private services and scattering of her ashes will be held at a later date.

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased
