Joseph Meccariello, 60, of Oahu, passed away in Straub Hospital, Honolulu, HI on Thursday, April 13th, 2021. He was born in Hollywood, Florida. Joseph is survived by his brother Paul Meccariello, his sister Lynn Stanton of San Antonio Texas, his brother-in-law Harry Stanton, niece Cheryl Stanton, nephews Mark and Bradley Stanton, Christopher, Vincent and Nick Meccariello, and son Taylor Pray. In addition, Joseph was preceded in death by his mother Marion Meccariello and his father Michael Meccariello. Joseph was a successful businessman for the past 25 years in Waikiki. Joseph was an avid surfer known to the surfing community throughout the world including Bali, Indonesia and Cape Town, South Africa.
