Prior to her passing, she reflected that she felt very fortunate and appreciative to have the love and support of family and the devotion from her sisters. By her own admission, she would like to be remembered as a proud mother/grandmother, loyal sister, and one heck of a fixer upper; a woman who went about doing good without needing attention or fanfare. She recognized what needed to be done and did it as long as she could.
She is predeceased by her husband, Raymond, and brother, William. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen (Sanford) Saito; grand- children, Holly and Reid; sisters, Ethel Yasuda, Jean (Clinton) Tashiro and Dorothy Kuromoto.
We are eternally grateful to her. We will miss her deeply and she will be in our hearts forever...She is our guardian angel! Private services held.
