Born in Hilo in 1935, Walter passed away at Home in Kuliouou, April 28, 2021.Survived by wife Barbara (Bobbi); sons, Walter Jr. (Michelle) & Paul (Vicki). Daughters Bonnie Giltner (Dennis), Kathleen Johansen (Carl - deceased), Rachelle (Richard Andrade), and Rebecca Poli Jacobsen (Eric - deceased). Fourteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and one expected in September, and one great great grandchild also expected in September.
He attended St. Louis College, served in the US Army, and retired after thirty years with Hawaiian Telephone Co. Thank you to Malama Ola for the care and kindness given Walter and the rest of our family.
