93, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2021 in Honolulu. She was born on November 22, 1927 on Oahu. She retired after many years from the University of Hawaii and Liberty House. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clement. She is survived by her daughters: JoAnn Mattson (Harry), Donna Takekawa (Neil), Eunice Lee (George), Monica Bell (David); son Garrick Gondo (Jason Surles); grandchildren: Kai Takekawa, Kory Takekawa, Sarah Bell; brothers, Raymond Nakamaru, and Arthur Nakamaru. She will be missed, but never forgotten. We will always remember her loving, kind, and generous spirit. Private service was held.
