79, peacefully left this world to meet his Savior Jesus Christ on September 5, 2021. He retired as a Captain from the Honolulu Police Department after 25 years of service, then went on to serve as Chief of Police for the City of Surprise, Arizona for 10 years. He is survived by his loving wife Helen F. Arrell, daughters Kathleen M. Sweet and Natalie J. Arrell, (Melani A. Noble deceased), son Gregory R. Arrell, 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was laid to rest at the National Memorial cemetery of Arizona on November 4, 2021.
