97, formally of Maili, Oahu and Pomaikai Senior Center, Hilo, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2021 in her foster family care home in Kaneohe. Her family extends their deepest gratitude to the Dulay family for their wonderful care and compassion. Born June 5, 1924 in Opaeula, Camp #3, Waialua. Preceded in death by her parents, Otoichi and Yoshino Nakahira; brothers, Toshio and Edward Nakahira; sisters, Koishi Hachida, Elsie Konno and twin sister Jean Kaneshiro. She is survived by sons, Bill Green and Stephen (Yuko) Green of Waikoloa; daughters, Marie Green of Arizona, Donna Rodrigues and Gwen Massiah; 9 grand- children; 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
