90, passed away peacefully in Honolulu on September 10, 2021. She was born in Kona, Hawaii, graduating from McKinley High School and the University of Michigan. She worked at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center as a licensed dietician for 32 years. Thelma enjoyed traveling to various countries with friends, reading novels, listening to classical music, attending symphonies and practiced still life painting. She returned to Hawaii in 2014 to be closer to family but always considered San Francisco to be her home. She is survived by nieces; Lynn Baker, Claire Young, nephews: Brian Ishihara, Darrel Asami and Dale Asami. Private services were held.
