Carolyn Wai Fong Wong Ching
78, peacefully passed away on October 23, 2021 in Honolulu surrounded by her loving family. She was born and raised in Honolulu and graduated from Roosevelt High School and the University of Hawaii. Carolyn was a passionate and dedicated educator for 36 years with the State of Hawaii Department of Education, retiring from Noelani Elementary in 2005. She was married to Sai Lit for 50 years and was a faithful and avid member of the Community Church of Honolulu. Carolyn was preceded in death by Sai Lit and is survived by her two daughters Allison Collantes and Ashley (Ben) Wang, grandchildren Megan Irene, Nicholas, Lucas, and Laurel, brother Kendall (Yan) Wong, sisters Georgia (Steven) Wong and Beverly (David) Lum, and nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at Community Church of Honolulu on December 4, 2021. Visitation at 9:30am, Service at 10:30am, and fellowship to follow. Face masks and vaccination card required Arrangements Provided By:
