FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

RHONDA LEIANN KIM

56, of Oakland, CA, passed away on September 30, 2021. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister. Born in Glendale, CA in 1965, she was raised in Kailua, HI, and graduated high school from Hawaiian Mission Academy. She went on to graduate from Pacific Union College with an A.S. in Advertising Design and Photography then onto Art Center College of Design for her B.F.A., both in CA. She lived and worked in New York City and eventually settled in Oakland, CA.

She is survived by her wife Cherry of 24 years, son Max, father Paul, brother Russell (Joyce), nephews Ryan, Riley, Reid, aunties, uncles, and cousins. And she is predeceased by her mother Ann.

Due to COVID-19, a private service will be held for family members only. The celebration of life will be livestreamed online, Saturday, November 27 starting at 3 PM on the Kailua Seventh Day Adventist Church's YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWOnLEWkhulzXR-EnbuqY-A
