During high school, Tom used his skills in activities such as being the editor of the Farrington Governor newspaper and he also serves as President of the YMCA's Chevaliers Social Club.
After high school, Tom served in the Air Force and then went on to a successful career in sales at several large companies. Tom was able to retire from Diebold and start enjoying his life.
Tom loved to participate in many activities like Karaoke, Plays, and taking a swing at the golf course with his classmates from Farrington High School.
Tom was a part of the Diamond Head Community Theater and starred in The Red River, Oklahoma, and South Pacific plays.
Tom had a deep baritone voice and he greatly enjoyed singing throughout his life. Whether at a Karaoke bar, or at a family and friends' gatherings, or in community theatre, Tom loved to sing and he was good at it. He also went on to compete in various Karaoke contests and did an amazing job out in Laughlin, NV and took 4th place.
He is preceded in death by parents Robert Eichi and Lilian Mitsuyo Yamaguchi; and brother Michael Satoshi Yamaguchi.
Survived by sisters Jean Mieko and Lynn Asae Yamaguchi; former wife, Gail Yamaguchi; sister-in-law, Harriet Yamaguchi; children Richard (Matthew), Tracy (Eddie), and Jeffrey (Lila); grandchildren Micah, Jose, and Lehua. Tom was also survived by his extended family: The DuPont's, The Almodova's, and The Lave's.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions: 150 capacity. Must wear masks, social distance, vaccinations cards will be checked along with a temperature check. Services will be held on Dec 11, 2021 at 9:30AM at Mililani Mortuary-Mauka Chapel.
