He is survived by his wife, Tok Cha Yang; sons, Chol Sun (Teresa) and Chol Ho (Deborah) Yang; daughter, Carolyn (Christopher) Jenkins; eight grandchildren; brothers, Joong Sok, In Sok, and Woo Sok; sisters, Sook Cha, Kwang Cha, Myong Cha, and Mi Cha.
