Loretta Leilani Dolera passed peacefully at home at the age of 84. "Lani", as most knew her, was born the eldest of Nicholas and Maria Perez in Honolulu. For nearly 20 years she worked as a waitress for Spencecliff Restaurants. In 1985 she became a hostess with Cinnamon's Family Restaurant in Kailua where she worked until retirement in 2012. Her passion and joy outside of her family and the Cinnamon's Restaurant family was "tole painting" and blessing others with homemade cookies and pies.
She is survived by husband Andy Dolera; daughters Cindy and Andrea; grandchildren: William, Jonathan and Lopaka; 8 great grandchildren; sister Alvina Garcia. Predeceased by siblings: Betty Ann "Momi", Elizabeth "Mamo", Nicholas, Jr, Homer, Clifford, and Nathan "Pee Wee".
The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to the care team of Malama Ola Heath Services who cared for Lani the months preceding her passing. They brought great joy to Lani's days, honoring, and respecting her until her passing.
Services in honor of Lani's Life will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on December 18th, 2021 at Hawaiian Memorial Park, Kaneohe Chapel. Private Burial.
