Winona Leilani Thornton Dias, aka Lani Dias, 86 years old, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on November 17, 2021 in Maluhia Nursing Home. She was born on July 16, 1935 in Honolulu to Charles Kinimaka Thornton and Molly Lum Leong, both deceased. She enjoyed most while working as a telephone operator from 1968 until 1984. Lani is survived by 3 daughters and 1 son, Stephanie Sandoval Anthony), Maile Okuma (Alan), Sharon Petrulo (Marco), and Bill Dias. Also survived by sister Gail Mamo Martin, half sister Pauline Thornton Wong, & half brother Paul Thornton. Predeceased by daughters Debra Dias (2012), Sandra Dias (1991).
