69, of Pearl City, passed away on November 13th at home surrounded by his family. An avid fisherman and Dodger fan, Gene's greatest love and legacy was his family. He was a loving husband to Jo-Ann and a devoted dad to Chelsea and Scott (Kristin). He is also survived by siblings Alan, Wendy Nakanishi, Laura Moriyama and their families. Gene lived life well and with gratitude. Private services were held.
