Age 77, passed away on December 7, 2021, with husband Francis Miyazawa, daughter Kimberly Miyazawa Frank, son Dr. Jeffrey K. Miyazawa, and daughter-in-law Joanie Miyazawa (nee Tokuda) by her side. Born on May 2, 1944, she is the sixth child of Eddie and Edna Konishi of Kalihi. She is survived by sisters Mae Prentice of Hamilton, OH and Frances "Fuffy" Kojiro of Mililani, sister-in-law Arline Konishi (nee Menor), son-in-law Trey Frank and seven grandchildren Griffin, Marin, and Jack Frank, and Jonah, Joshua, Joy, and Jaclyn Miyazawa, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Helen Nakagawa (Kuni), Jeanne Choo, and Paul Konishi.Sharon was a civilian contracting officer for the US Government at Hickam AFB for 36 years, served on the board of Hickam Federal Credit Union, and was active in planning the Farrington Class of '62 reunions. She and Francis regularly attended First Presbyterian Church at Koolau. She especially enjoyed attending their grandkids' sporting events and dance programs, visiting family on the mainland, and spending time with friends. She is fondly remembered for her big smile and even bigger heart.
Celebration of Life on December 29, 2021, at Kalihi Union Church, visitation at 9:00 am, service at 11:00 am with lunch to follow. Aloha attire. Please wear a mask.
