Atanasio Michael Saberon
Atanasio (Ata) Michael Saberon was born in Honolulu on May 2, 1937 to Victorina Lanticse and Arcadio Saberon, 84 years young of Kaneohe & Ewa Beach passed away peacefully to join his loving wife, La-Venda on December 13, 2021. Ata is survived by his children; Cindy Hong (John), Arcadio Kalani Saberon (Elizabeth), Ana Lehua Abbey (Clark), Abigail Saberon Brilhante, Ata Saberon Jr. (Diana), grandchildren; Daniel, Nohelani, Amanda, Aaron, Alana, Isaiah, Andreya, Alika and many great-grand-children. Brother; Gabriel Saberon and Sister; Celestina "Sally" Saberon, many cousins, nieces and nephews. After retiring from 38 years of dedicated service as a lead pipe fitter for the Board of Water Supply, Ata and La-Venda pursued their passion in playing golf, ballroom dancing, bowling and heading to Vegas for a chance to hit the "Mega Bucks"! One of many accolades of Ata's life was bowling a perfect "300" game at Windward Bowl. He was a multi-talented musician learning by ear, accomplished Artist wherein he was awarded a scholarship to attend the Academy of Arts. He enjoyed the Outdoors and loved, fishing, diving, torching and hunting as he was an avid Pig Hunter and a former member of the Pig Hunters Association.
He was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will start on Tuesday, 12/28/2021 at 9:00 a.m. at Oahu Cemetery & Crematory, 2162 Nuuanu Ave. Honolulu, HI 96817, Burial at 2:00 p.m. Greenhaven Memorial Park 47-147 Waikalua Rd, Kaneohe, HI 96744. In honor of his dedicated work at the Board of Water Supply, please wear green to his service and make sure to wear a mask.
