On October 17, 2021, Lily passed away at Kuakini Medical Center at the age of 91. She was dedicated to teaching for more than 50 years. She had been an active member of the Jikoen Hongwanji Buddhist and Okinawan community. She is survived by son Keith (Etsuko); daughter Lynn Monatt (George); granddaughters: Jazmin & Jaci. Visitation at Hosoi Garden Mortuary at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 followed by a memorial service at 5:00 pm. COVID-19 restrictions, ID with proof of full vaccination and mask required.
