Born in Pepeekeo, Hawaii, he was an Army veteran and retired engineer aide working as a surveyor for the State of Hawaii Department of Transportation. He is survived by his sister, Mildred (Stanley) Nakama; sisters-in-law, Sueko Gushiken and Diane Gushiken. Private service held. Family requests no flowers and no monetary gifts.
