Terry passed away on September 10, 2021 at the age of 92. She is survived by her brother, Hatsuo Nishi, her sister, Harumi Hirata, and numerous nephews and nieces. Terry was born in Hilo and graduated from Hilo High School and Hilo Business College. She moved to Honolulu and worked for the Honolulu Community Chest (predecessor of the Aloha United Way). the Bank of Hawaii and the Honolulu Board of Water Supply. She married Robert Fujimoto in 1955, but the marriage was a short one because Robert died suddenly in 1956. She married Norman Fujikawa in 1969 and they had a happy marriage until Norman died in 2014. Terry spent her final 7 years dealing with Alzheimer's. Private services were held at Punchbowl Cemetery.
