98, passed away peacefully Dec. 23, 2022. "Tutu Betty" was born Nov. 12, 1924, in Tutuila, American Samoa, and raised in Utulei Village. "A proud American Samoan," she was predeceased by her husband, Albert Henry Roth, and daughter, Stephanie Leilani Nehls. She is survived by her son, Michael Roth, and his wife, Leilani; her five grandchildren, Lanee, Mika'ele (and his son, Maiko), Faith, Nani and Sunny; and eight other great-grandchildren. She retired from the Federal Aviation Administration, was a devoted wife, mother and tutu, and was an avid golfer credited with two hole-in-ones! She was a wonderful all-around Miss Aloha and an engaging storyteller who was loved and adored by all the lives she touched. "Tutu Betty" will be greatly missed.
