Florante passed away peacefully on Monday, December 19, 2022 at the age of 87. Born in Bolinao Pangasinan Philippines, and raised in Benito Soliven Isabela, Philippines. Florante will be remembered for his generosity, love of life and deep love for family and his God Jehovah.Florante and Ederlina were married in Manila on December 9, 1967 united for 55 years. Together they raised 5 children. David Nacion (Terry), Kalika Joy Yap (Rodney), Florante Nacion Jr, Ruth Michelle Silvia (John), Mildred Jane Pothier (Michael). Grandchildren Joshua, Gabby, Malia, Kailani, Cyrus and Mila.
Florante graduated from Far Eastern University Manila Philippines with a Business Administration degree. A natural salesman and entrepreneur, he was the owner of several small businesses. After a brief stay in Australia, he chose Hawaii as home to raise their children.
After retiring, Flor and Derline moved back to Isabela Philippines where they could pursue their ministry more fully. He loved to travel, spend time with his grandchildren and most of all speak to others about God's Kingdom. (Matthew 6:9, 10)
He was loved and we will forever treasure our time and memories of Dad or Grandpa, Brother Nacion, Flor or Floyd to his friends. We look forward to seeing Dad again in God's promised paradise.
