Leo Baldovino Torda, 78, sadly left us on August 22, 2022. He passed away at his home surrounded by loved ones. Born in Lapog, Ilocos Sur, Philippines on April 25, 1944, he made the journey with his parents to Hawaii in 1947, where he lived for over 50 years. Then, in 1998, he moved to Las Vegas and made Nevada his home. Leo was a loving father and husband, a proud St. Louis Crusader (class of 1962), a United States Air Force Vietnam Veteran and an International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW Local 1186) union member.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, four children: Leigh-Tracey (Fred), Leyton Richard (Lori), Lee-Jacob (Scott) & Lee-Anne (Jeffrey), seven grandchildren: Logan, Morgan, Jamin, Annsley, Jenevieve, Jacen & Jaxon and five siblings: Willee, Orlando, Annie, Efren & Fred.
A funeral service will be held in his honor on Friday, January 20th at St. Joseph Church in Waipahu located at 94-675 Farrington Highway. 9:30am Visitation; 10:30am Service & Funeral Mass. Following the mass, a burial service with full military honors will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific located at Punchbowl Crater in Honolulu promptly at 1:00pm.
