Born January 21, 1938 in Kaka'ako.Melvin is survived by wife, Katherine; daughters: Alika Bruno (Nelson), Melo Frank (John), Kathleen Soque (Mel), Gigi Velasco (Puna); brothers: Alex "Kapu" & Killarney; sister, Yvonne DuPont; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
A retired MTL Maintenance Shop employee who loved being at the ball field, was an outstanding mountain ball pitcher!
