Nathan L.Y. Wharton, "Nate," was born March 30, 1980 in Portland, OR. He passed away on November 18, 2022, in Honolulu, HI. He was a Captain of the Honolulu Police Department with 15 years of service. His infectious humor and caring spirit will be missed by all.He is survived by wife, Ashley Wharton; son, Otto Wharton; mother, Beryle Matsumura; and siblings, Evan and Megan Wharton. Private services were held.
Celebration of Life will be held at St. Louis Alumni Clubhouse on Sunday, January 22, 2023. Visitation will be held at 4:00pm and a program to honor his life will be at 5:00pm. Dinner will be served. Aloha attire is requested.
