69, of Kaneohe, passed away on October 23, 2022. Ronald was employed for 35 years at Alii Flooring before retiring in 2007 as Vice President and Estimator. After spending a year at home, he returned to work as a Construction Consultant for RMA Architects (formerly Richard Matsunaga and Associates). He retired again in 2017.
He was predeceased by his father Thomas Nakamura, mother Marilyn Ono (Harold-deceased) and oldest brother Harris Nakamura (Nona-deceased).
Ronald is survived by his wife Sharon Yamane Nakamura; daughters Jill Ching (Wendell) and Erin Nakamura (Richard Towai); beloved granddaughter Bailey Nakamura; siblings Carolyn Miyasaki (Arnold), Jarrel Nakamura (Sharon), Ruth Reola (Alex); step siblings Jerilyn Hall (Harold), Berlyn Kaneshiro (Neil); many nephews, nieces and relatives.
Celebration of Ronald's life will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Visitation at 10am, Celebration at 11am. Masks are required.
