82Diane was a devoted mother, a teacher, a canoe paddler, and a sailor. She loved hula, Hawaiian music, and native Hawaiian birds and plants.
She is survived by her two daughters, Claire (David) Elliott of Olympia WA, and Sara (Todd) Ackerman of Waimea, Hawaii; grandchildren, Edgar and Madeleine Elliott and her brother William (Carla) Larsgaard of San Francisco, CA.
A memorial will be held at the Outrigger Canoe Club on February 5 , 2023, at 9:00 a.m. for family and friends. Donations in Diane's name may be made to PAWS Hawaii.
