Abraham Thomas Kapana Jr, resident of Kaimuki; died January 8, 2023 at the age 70. Known to many as Jr, he was born and raised in Honolulu, a graduate of Damien Memorial school. He retired after 37yrs with City and County of Honolulu, 24yrs of which as a Police Officer.He is survived by wife Pamela; son, Tanoa (Summer) Kapana; daughters, Kainoa (Blais) Barnes, Kanoe (Matt Israel) Kapana, Malia (Duane DeSoto) Ka'aihue, Pua (Lyle Nicely) Ka'aihue. Blessed with 25 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Survived also by his three brothers, Leighton Kapana, Joseph Kapana, and Francis Kapana; Two sisters, Kaui DeLoge, and Michelle Kapana Baird; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. His celebration of life will be held on January 24, 2023 at 10am at Kaimana Beach Park. Beach/Aloha attire (his favorite color is red.)
