93, of Kalihi, died peacefully surrounded by family on December 11, 2022. Born in Hilo, moved to Honolulu and worked at Min Plastics for 35 years. Family was everything to 'Aunty Asano' who was always looking for reasons to get together. She was kindhearted, loving, generous, and so proud of her granddaughters! Doris was predeceased by her husband, Edward and son, Byron. Survived by daughter, Wendy Kimi (Ken), two granddaughters, Ashley Howell (Calvin) and Amanda Miyahara (Royce) and great-grandson, David Howell; numerous nieces, and nephews. The family of Doris Kuwana invites family and friends to join her Celebration of Life on Friday, February 3rd at Hosoi Garden Mortuary with visitation from 9:30am and services at 10am (masks required).
