78, of Aiea, was born on October 25, 1943 in Laupahoehoe, Hawai'i, and passed away peacefully on August 13, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. He is survived by wife Lillian Higashi; daughters Denise (Terry) Yamamoto, Tracie (Kurt) Murao, Kelsey (Sheldon) Takahashi; and seven grand- children. Private services were held at Hosoi Mortuary.
