72, of Aiea, passed away on January 3, 2023. He was born on June 8, 1950, on Lanai, Hawaii, graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1968 and served in the Army National Guard. Alan worked his way up from a laborer, to union carpenter and then to a General Superintendent of Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company for the past 53 years. He was also the Director of Alan S. Hinahara Construction, Inc. since 1988.Alan was preceded in death by parents, Minoru and Jane Sumiko Hinahara. He is survived by wife, Michele; daughter Leina (Mike) Yamaguchi; son Clint (Roanne) Hinahara; grandchildren: Michael Alan & Sean Yamaguchi, Lexi & Max Hinahara; brothers Dennis (Myra), Wayne (Sharon Kaneshige) and sister Jean (Craig) Nakagawa; mother-in-law, Jeanette Kimiyo Watanabe and nieces & nephews.
Services will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at
Mililani Memorial Park, Mauka Chapel, Ka Uka Blvd, Waipahu.
Visitation: 5:00 p.m.; Memorial Services begin at 6:00 p.m.
