Myron Shozo Nihei
Myron was a 1962 Kaimuki Bulldog. He spent a short time on the Mainland for school and work, before returning home to work for the City. He spent 25 years with Data Systems, HPD (civilian) and at the People's Open Market. Upon retirement, he worked at the Academy of Arts and Waialae Country Club. In 2014, he was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis. On May 17, he succumbed to this disease. His greatest triumph was the love of his family and joining Jesus in eternity. His beloved family includes wife Corlis, sons Justin and wife Erin, David and wife Liza and four grandchildren. His siblings, George and late wife Lei, Bertha and husband Todd McIntyre, and his extended family and dear friends completed his life. We will celebrate Myron on 7/14/18, 10:00 a.m., at the Diamond Head Mortuary. Interment will follow at Valley of the Temples Cemetery, Korean Garden.
