89, of Torrence, CA, passed away of May 8, 2018. Born in Honolulu. He is survived by son, Gregory K. (Karin) Chai of Tehachapi, CA; daughters, Yumi (Ian) Bently of Ringgold, GA, and Diane (Marshall) Berle of Tampa, FL; sister, Shirley Chai Kaleikini of Kaneohe; 5 grandchildren; and 9 great-grand- children. Interment at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery on Friday, July 27, 2018. Services at 10:00 a.m.
