78, of Honolulu, retired installation designer for the Honolulu Academy of Arts, passed away at home on April 4, 2019. He was born in Yokohama, Japan. He is survived by his wife, Tsuyako; son, Jeffrey K.; and daughter, Michelle Kaneko. Visitation is at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2019, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary.
