She was predeceased by father John DeLeon Diaz and brothers Clarence and Dennis. She is survived by mother Teofila; sister Cynthia (Kerry) Yen; nephews Christian, Jonathan, and John; nieces Alexis, Alyssa, and Alana; grandniece Ailika; grandnephew Logan; and fur baby Chex.
Bev attended St. John the Baptist Catholic School and St. Francis High School. Her concern for others led to a career in social work. She received her BA (Psychology) and MSW degrees from the University of Hawaii and she worked at various facilities helping people: Child and Family Services-Honolulu, Avalon Care Center, Hale Nani Rehabilitation/Beverly Manor, and Kapiolani Medical Center-Pali Momi. She was most recently employed as a Licensed Medical Social Worker at Kaiser Permanente Moanalua Medical Center. Throughout her life, family and friends could always count on Bev's help; good nature; and ready smile. She will be dearly missed.
