Janice Sun Linn Lui, 86, of Honolulu, Hawaii, died peacefully at Queen's Medical Center on April 10, 2021. She was born to Harriett and Ah Ung Lum in 1935 in Honolulu and grew up around Damon Tract. She graduated in 1952 from Roosevelt High School, achieved a Master's Degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in Public Health and retired as social worker for the State of Hawaii, Department of Health.
Janice is survived by her son Kendall; daughter Karen; sister Gwendolyn; brother Alvin; grand- sons Beren, Jared and Marcus and granddaughter Jessica. Due to COVID restrictions and need for social distancing, the Lui Family regrets that the services and burial will be private.
