Tadao "Tad" Wakayama, 88, of Pearl City, formerly of Kipu, Kauai, a Hawaiian Electric Co. retiree and an Army veteran who served with the 442nd Regimental Combat Team in Italy, died in Aiea. He was born in Hawaii. He is survived by wife Fusae; son Mark; daughter Gail Miyamoto; brothers Stanley and Jack; sisters Betty Yama, Kate Watase, Grace Munechika and Irene Matsuda; and six grandchildren. Private services.
