Born in in Honolulu, Hawaii. he is survived by - son Gaylord (Butch) Ellis, Jr and daughters Helene (Ala) and Leona Ellis (Kane), hanai brother Michael Ellis, 2 grandchildren, and 6 great grand children.
Visitation 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug 18 at Diamond Head Mortuary with prayer service to follow. Burial at 12:45 p.m.
