SHEILA M GEIB
90, died on September 14, 2012 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Born on December 14, 1921, she was the daughter of Leo P and Anita Krejci Geib of West Bend, Wisconsin. She was predeceased by brothers Bobby, Jimmy, Leo M and Thomas and a sister, Vivian Trimpi. She had a long and successful career in the tour and travel industry, first working for Northwest Airlines in Chicago and then relocating to Hawaii in 1957, where she worked for Island Holidays Travel Service. The second largest travel agency in Hawaii, she was in charge of the independent tour division and supervised the daily operations of the company. As an officer of the Hawaii division, she was a delegate to the many conferences of the International Association of Travel Agencies, which took her to many parts of the world. Physical fitness and yoga were significant in her daily life. Community service was her calling during her retirement years and she volunteered at Project Dana, assisting the elderly to live independently. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Her ashes are being returned to Wisconsin to be with her family.
