Ethel Harue Nabeta Iwashita, 87, of Hilo, a retired Waiakea Waena Elementary School teacher and a state social worker, died in Hilo. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by husband Haruo, daughter Noreen Aki Ogawa, brother Ralph Nabeta, sister Nora Nabeta and a grandchild. Private services. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
